Yorkies nose getting lighter
Question
My Teacup Yorkie is 1 yr old and ive noticed that his nose over the past few months has been getting lighter and lighter is that normal?
Answer
This is called 'snow nose' and normally happens during the winter months. Their noses lose pigmentation. This happens to all dogs and not just to yorkies noses. Normal pigmentation should be recovered in the spring/summer months when they start getting more sunshine again.
