Our Yorkie, Soli, was my wife's 1998 Xmas present from our 3 grown kids.

He was a happy, energetic and loyal companion who brought us much joy for 12.3 years.

Sadly, he was diagnosed with diabetes and renal failure the third week of January 2011.

We did all we could to make him better (daily insulin shots, special diet, daily subcutaneous IVs) and he rebounded for 40 days before his beautiful little body gave out at 0848 on 3/16/2011.

Now, everyday we see or hear something that brings a quick reminder of our precious little Soli, since he was such a big part of our daily lives.

I am so very sorry to read about your loss. I can only imagine your grief and pain. My boy, Romeo, is 2 years old and has been with us since he was 10 weeks old. He's been a constant companion and has brought such joy to me that I can't even imagine what it would be like to not have him around

i am so sorry to hear your little yorkie has passed away, nothing can replace the big hole that they leave in your broken heart but the years of memories that they leave behind will confort you. ther will be lots of times when something will make you think of him an the saddness will come flooding back but have comfort in knowing that he knew you loved him lots an that he loved you and that his life could not have been any better than it was with you.

So sorry about your loss i too lost my little yorkie toffy 3 years ago.

She was only 10 years old she was never ill always playful then one day we took her for a walk as normal she seemed a bit slower than normal.

Later that day we knew something was not right so we took her to the vets they kept her in put her on a drip also took some tests.

Days went by she was going down hill by the day then we got the phone call from the vets to go in. They told us she had cancer and there was nothing they could do and that she would get worse by the day and said it would be better to put her to sleep.

I couldn't believe what i was hearing i took her home that day refusing to believe she wasn't going to get better.

I soon realized that that wasn't the case. I stayed up with her all that night. She couldn't rest walking about constantly drinking and she had a look in her eyes that i never seen before.

I knew it was time to let her go...

There isn't a day that goes by that i don't think of her. I miss her more than words can say...
