Size of yorkshire terrier

Question

I wanted to know when a breeder says the yorkshire terrier will grow to approximately 25-30 cms. Is that just the body section or is it the head included? What is the height of these dogs usually?

Answer

I would guess that they were referring to length, with the head included.

The height for a yorkshire terrier normally falls within range of about 15cm - 22cm.

Of course this will vary greatly from yorkie to yorkie.
