Question

We are getting a new addition to our family at Christmas and wanted to know if a collar or a harness should be used?

Answer

Before I began this site and researching a lot more for inormation on yorkshire terriers, we used to use a collar for Harry.

However, now since I have read about the fact that yorkies are prone to collapsing tracheas I have only used a harness since when taking him for walks.

Personally I prefer a dog harness with lots of padding and support so that he is as comfortable as can be.
