Would it cost alot to care for a yorkie? are they expensive?
Answer
Caring for any dog can prove to be expensive, however I would say that caring for a yorkie will be slightly cheaper because they are toy dogs and will not be as expensive to feed due to their small size.
You need to take many expenses into account, vet bills, vaccines, food and treats, then other pet supplies such as food bowls, toys, leashes, collars etc. The first year will be the most expensive as you will need to purchase all these new things for your yorkie.
I would suggest you budget how much you can afford/month and then calculate how much everything will cost you to buy.
There are some great online stores which have pet supplies at a slightly lower prices so possibly look for the best deals online.
