My first yorkie was named Asti after my favorite champagne.

She was a very sweet yorkie that would curl up with me anytime I sat down.

She was my shadow, my buddy, my beloved puppy.

She needed knee surgery and never truly recovered. I think the medications were too much for her.

She lived to be 10 years old, so, she did have a good life.

I just wished she could have stayed with me longer.
