A howling yorkie

Question

When I left today for work I video taped my 14 year old yorkie and was shocked how he acted...

He was howling for 1 hour!?


Answer

It is not uncommon for Yorkies to howl when their owners leave for the day. It is simply your dog's way of expressing that he misses you.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it because it is perfectly normal.
